THE PAINT WORK IS NICE, THE BIKE HAS VERY NICE STOCK 1974 Z1 PIPES VERY NICE. THE BIKE IS A NON NUMBERS MATCHING THE FRAME IS Z1F-06336 AND THE ENGINE IS Z1E-16054 WHILE BOTH ARE 73 S THEY ARE NOT A MATCH FROM THE FACTORY. THE BIKE RUNS VERY GOOD, STOPS GREAT - A VERY GOOD RIDER. THERE ARE SOME REPRODUCTION PARTS: SWITCHES, SEAT, GRAB BAR, SHOCKS. THE BLACK PARTS HAVE BEEN POWDER COATED AND LOOK VERY NICE. WHILE THE BIKE IS NOT 100% IT IS VERY NICE, MAKE ANY OFFER HE WONT BE UPSET AND YOU MAY JUST OWN IT . Mon, 08 Nov 2010I've sat through enough manufacturer' presentations recently to know that we're in trouble. Ignoring the still booming Asian markets, the rest of the motorcycle World is in free-fall. Even looking at the figures optimistically we're still only selling half the volumes we were in pre-crash 2006.
2014 AMA Supercross – Toronto Results
Mon, 24 Mar 2014James Stewart captured his series-leading fourth AMA Supercross 450 class win of the season, giving him sole possession of second place on the overall career wins list ahead of Ricky Carmichael and behind Jeremy McGrath. The win also helped Stewart gain some ground on points leader Ryan Villopoto who suffered from a bout of food poisoning. Villopoto was examined at a Toronto hospital and released in time for the opening ceremonies.
A Weighty Issue
Mon, 03 Nov 2008For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
