The Vulcan 500 LTD gets its power from a 498cc parallel-twin, based on the same engine that powers the NINJA 500R sportbike. Liquid cooling helps this cruiser maintain consistent operating temperatures for longer engine life and sustained power. The engine has also been tuned to deliver power as suited to boulevard cruising as it is to more spirited riding. The six-speed transmission, complete with Kawasakis exclusive Positive Neutral Finder, allows riders to use the engine to its full potential. Providing support for a saddle thats just 28 inches from the ground, it puts just about any size rider at ease. Recall for 2011 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT
Thu, 30 Jun 2011Kawasaki is issuing a recall on the 2011 Vulcan Classic LT tourer due to a risk of damage to the tires’ inner tubes. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the inner tubes on some Kawasaki Vulcan Classic LT models may become pinched near the valve stem during mounting. In some cases, this may result in a loss of air pressure.

Fri, 07 Jan 2011We all like to save a shilling if we can, especially these days, but sometimes, doing a job yourself, cutting corners and generally grubbing round being tight fisted actually ends up costing you more money than biting the bullet and putting your hand a bit deeper into your pocket to get a proper job done. The problem is, I come from a long line of, erm, frugal Yorkshire b####rds going back generations, and I seem to be hardwired as a bit of a skinflint. My dad, although never actually short of money, that I could remember, didn’t like spending it.

Join our Kawasaki J300 Forum Developed with Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco, the J300 scooter is powered by a 299cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, likely the same motor equipped on the Kymco Downtown 300i which claims an output of 29.5 hp and 18.1 ft-lb. The J300 may have some Kymco DNA but there are some distinct features that mark it as a Kawasaki.
