Kawasaki Vulcan tech info
Kawasaki Vulcan description
For sale is my 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan Meanstreak factory show bike.
Bike has 10,400+ miles on it and will probably rise as I still ride it. That said, here's the scoop on it: Back in 2003 Kawasaki chose this bike to load up all the accessories they wanted to sell and take it around to the different dealers to show off. The sales manager bought it for her husband when the next year model came out and I bought it from him. No cheap aftermarket junk on this bike, this is mostly top of the line overpriced dealer stuff. I will probably miss some things because there is so much but here's the standard stuff that makes it pretty amazing: It's 1500cc V-Twin, liquid cooled, 5 speed trans, hydraulic clutch, it's fuel injected, double disc brakes up front, stops as good as it goes, single disc in the back, forks were used from the 1400 Ninja, easy adjust rear shocks, shaft drive with mag wheels! Starts, rides and runs like new. Add on's: First thing you'll love is the $2200 paint job that is blue and green pearl over black that flips colors back and forth as you move around. EICMA 2011: Kawasaki Versys 1000 Not Coming to U.S.
Wed, 09 Nov 2011While Kawasaki unveiled its Versys 1000 at EICMA, don’t expect to see it on American roadways any time soon (edit: but if you live north of the border in Canada you’re in luck, as it will offered for CN$13,999, a bit higher than the Z1000 but the same price as the Ninja 1000): What will we be missing? A bigger, badder version of the original Kawasaki Versys seems to be the answer. “Created as the long-awaited big brother of Kawasaki’s mid-size any-road street surfer, the new Versys 1000 is designed to enable the greatest riding enjoyment in the widest variety of street riding situations,” Kawasaki Motors Europe says in a release.
Kawasaki Celebrates 40th Anniversary of Z1

Kawasaki’s first large-capacity four-stroke multi-cylinder motorcycle took center stage at the 1972 IFMA, the precursor to the INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany. Together with the Honda CB750, the Kawasaki Z1 helped spearhead the popularity of the Japanese Inline-Four.
