Hello, I have a nice clean 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 for your consideration. This motorcycle is loaded with options. It has a windshield, crash bars with rider pegs, driving lights, toolbag, buffalo leather saddle bags, backrest, heel/toe shifter, and floorboards. The Vulcan has Cobra pipes, Pro Air Cleaner and like new Metzler tires. There is also a fuel gauge! This bike has no problems, easy shifting, runs good and handles well. US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results
Thu, 28 Jul 2011The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
A Weighty Issue
Mon, 03 Nov 2008For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
