Kawasaki Vulcan description

Hate to do it, but I'm selling my Kawi Drifter.

Super clean bike.

2002 1500cc.

I'm the second owner.

14,898 miles as of this posting.

Bike has been METICULOUSLY maintained.

Clean title. Never dropped. Never even saw rain.

All service done by Maximum Motorsports in Riverhead, New York

I have all maintenance receipts and original owners manual.

Just had the oil changed and inspection completed in the Spring.

Nothing left to do but ride it.

Roadhouse fishtail pipes.

Comes with a two-up seat ( as well as seat shown here - both Corbin )

Lizard lights that light up the engine.

Big wide beach bars

Theses bikes are rare and this one is a beauty.

Email me if you'd like to see a walk around video

Couple of small dings in the clear coat. One small scuff. Nothing crazy. See pictures for details.

Does not detract from bike at all.

A real head turner. Get compliments everywhere I go.

Ok, now since this is Ebay, here's the part where I have to be a jerk...I apologize in advance for this, but if you've ever tried to sell a vehicle on Ebay or Craigslist, you know it's necessary. Anyway, here we go...

Starting price is $4800
No trades.
I can't stress this enough.

I don't want a boat, a late model mid size sedan, a membership to a local golf course or your vintage collection of old Hustler magazines. Don't even ask.

I'm not in any hurry to sell her so I won't even entertain low ball offers.

Also, no scams. None of this "I'll send you a check if you ship the bike to Texas" nonsense.

And sorry, but no test rides. I'm sure you can figure that one out.

Bike is located in Sound Beach, Long Island. 11789

If you know anything about the Drifters, than you know they are amazing bikes and very rare.

Here's a chance to own something that (God forbid) is not a Harley.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

Isle of Man TT 2013: Royal London 360 Superstock Results

Mon, 03 Jun 2013

We’re only three days into the racing action for the Isle of Man TT and one rider has already established himself as the star of this TT. Michael Dunlop, of the famous Dunlop racing family, took the victory at the Royal London 360 Superstock race, giving him his third win of the 2013 Isle of Man TT. The latest win gives Dunlop six in his career on the Mountain Course, tying him with such noted names as Geoff Duke, Jimmie Guthrie, Jim Redman and John Surtees.

MSF Begins Year-long Real World Motorcycle Safety Study

Fri, 26 Aug 2011

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation has started what it calls the first-ever naturalistic study of motorcycling, with 100 motorcycles equipped with data logging equipment to record real-world riding situations over the course of a year. The information will valuable data that will help shape the MSF’s rider education and rider training program and other safety initiatives. “Our priority with this research is to observe the participants on a day-to-day basis,” says Dr.
