1997 1500cc Kawasaki Vulcan Classic. Under 10,000 miles. Great ride!  This big bore V-Twin has ageless styling. Long and low, sleek looking as it cruises the streets or highways.  With a liquid cooled engine and shaft drive, vibrations are at a minimum.  4 speed. Great low end torque. Smooth open road handling yet easy riding in and around town.  Rated as best Cruiser by motorcycle magazines for 1997. Needs a little TLC. Hasn't been ridden in a year due to my age and related issues. Must pick up here. Cant ship. Asking $4000.

Single-Cylinder Kawasaki Ninja Spotted in Indonesia

Tue, 31 Dec 2013

Based solely on recent history, you’d think the engineers at Kawasaki are strong believers of the “bigger is better” philosphy. You need only look at the Ninja ZX-6R which shook off the shackles of the 600cc supersport segment with a 636cc displacement, then came the Ninja 300 replacing the 250. New spy photos from Indonesia, however suggest there’s still room for smaller engines from Team Green.

WSBK: 2012 Magny-Cours Results – Championship Decided by Half a Point

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.
