Up for auction is a really clean low mileage Kawasaki vulcan 750, I took this bike in trade last week but I don't ride, It is in very nice shape including the paint, chrome, seat and tires as you can see in the pics. It has only 15,424 actual miles and doesn't look like it was ever layed down, It starts right up and runs but I think the carburators could use a good cleaning as it has been is storage since last fall. I have a clean Mass title to the bike if you have any question, please feel free to ask and Ialthough I don't know a lot about this bike, I will do my best to answer.The bike will have to be picked up in Roxbury Vermont 05669 or yuo can arrange shipping but I will not ship it. The slip-on silencer requires no additional modifications: bolt on and go.Consistent power improvements throughout the rev range have been seen, with no adjustments to the fuelling, say Scorpion, with an average increase 3bhp.The new silencer has been acoustically developed to provide a greatly enhanced engine note. This means the bike will be as loud as the original in terms of a dB reading, but the exhaust note offers a deeper growl. However, removable baffles allow the rider to dramatically alter the tone of the exhaust by simply removing one bolt per silencer.
ZX-10R inspired by JPS Lotus?
Tue, 10 Jul 2012Spotted on Kawasaki's Facebook page, this 'Limited Edition' ZX-10R has been created by none other than double-F1 World Champ Emerson Fittipaldi, who is - amongst other things - a Kawasaki dealer in Brazil and who also happened to win his first World Championship in 1972 in a JPS Lotus that had a very similar colour scheme. Fittipaldi started his motorsport career on a motorcycle, aged just 14, before heading to hydrofoils (surely no-one else at world level has ever raced these?!) and then the more traditional route of karting. Question is: what do you think to the paintjob?
