2014 AMA Supercross – Arlington Results
Tue, 18 Feb 2014James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.
2014 Kawasaki KSR Pro Announced
Fri, 01 Nov 2013When Honda introduced the Grom earlier this year, it kicked off a renewed interest in the monkey bike, small-sized motorcycles with a high fun-factor that made up for its single-digit horsepower output. Suzuki is on board, announcing a new electric mini-bike concept called the Extrigger. But we’d be remiss if we forget that Kawasaki has been producing a mini-bike of its own for the Asian market.
The TT800 From Deus Ex Machina
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Deus Ex Machina, the surf/moto shop known for creating throwback, one-of-a-kind motorcycles, has released its latest work of art, the TT800. Paying tribute to the highly successful Triumph factory TT machines from the mid-1960s, Deus’ expert builder, Michael Woolaway, created the TT800 for a customer requesting a new, old Triumph. It sources a Kawasaki W650 bored out to 800cc with CR carbs, a custom TT inspired exhaust, custom chromoly racing frame, re-valved Öhlins forks, and a custom gusseted swing arm for more stability. A Beringer six-piston caliper front brake provides stopping power.
