Kawasaki Title Sponsor For AMA Road Race Finale At New Jersey Motorsports Park

Kawasaki Motors Corp., USA and New Jersey Motorsports Park have announced a new partnership that will see the manufacturer become the title sponsor for AMA Pro Road Racing’s visit to New Jersey Motorsports Park this fall. The weekend of September 13-14, 2014 will be branded as the Kawasaki Devil’s Showdown, and will feature AMA Pro SuperBike, AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike, AMA Pro SuperSport and AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series classes. What We Ain’t Getting: 2012 Kawasaki ER-6n

Kawasaki announced its 2012 street model lineup this week announcing a number of updates to its ZX-14R, as well as the Vulcan 1700 Voyager, Ninja 1000 and Ninja 650. Absent from Kawasaki’s U.S. offerings is the naked version of the Ninja 650, the ER-6n which has also been updated and will be available in other markets such as Europe and Canada.

In addition to Metallic Diablo Black, Sunbeam Red and Candy Thunder Blue, the 2009 Ninja 250R will be available in a Special Edition Lime Green and Metallic Diablo Black combination. The great-looking paint scheme of the new Special Edition Ninja 250R which features Kawi green with black side panels, echoes the MotoGP ZX-RR.
