Up for bid is my '04 Kawasaki NOMAD 1500 FI. I am the second owner & have owned this bike since the spring of '06. Engine size is a 1470cc V-twin. Oil & filter have always been changed @ 2000 mi intervals. New f/r brakes & new f/r Metzeler tires installed summer of '12. Factory features include fuel injection, electronic ignition, shaft drive, water cooled oil cooler, f/r chrome crash bars, f/r floorboards & adjustable rear air shocks. Added options include chrome visors for headlamp & driving lamps, driving lamps w/ separate on/off switch, 2" chrome handlebar risers, black leather tank bib, K & N air filter element, Vance & Hines exhaust, driver's highway pegs, driver's & passenger's back rest, chrome saddlebag top racks, chrome rear luggage rack with black leather zippered roll bag, rear LED lighting including LED stop lamp mounted between tailpipes. Paint is very nice with the exception of a small scratch on each saddlebag door because I forgot to remove my spare keys before I started cruising! DUH !!! Bike has always been garaged & never been wrecked. Mileage may be slightly higher than pictured because I may ride to work occasionally! I have title in hand for this turn key unit. Keanu Reeves Starts Arch Motorcycle Company – Production to Begin in 2013

Actor Keanu Reeves is getting into the motorcycle business, starting up the Arch Motorcycle Company with Gard Hollinger of L.A. County Choprods. The new company will build motorcycles based on the KR GT-1 prototype pictured above, with production set to begin in 2013.

The Japanese fantasized about the new Kawasaki Ninja 250

The small sportbike was last updated in 2013, but the next update is just around the corner. The Japanese magazine Young Machine has published a hypothetical (or, who knows, very likely) image of the new generation Kawasaki Ninja 250, which will appear at the end of next year or in 2018. The render is intriguing: according to it, the younger “ninja” can get a “birdcage” frame and a “changeling” fork.

2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase

The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.
