I have for auction a 2002 Kawasaki ZRX1200R. The bike has approximately 28k miles. The engine is a 4 cylinder, 1200cc. I just replaced the oil pan, oil pan plug, gaskets around oil pan, changed the oil and installed a new battery. Included with the purchase are 2 keys, original owners manual, tire pressure gauge, original tool kit and fuel tank cover/bra. This bike is in very good condition, always garage kept, runs good and only has some cosmetic scratches on the fuel tank and right side of the headlight/console fairing (see pics). I possess the title as well. I cannot offer refunds at this time. Please feel free to ask me any questions BEFORE bidding. Making this accomplishment more noteworthy is the fact that Matt is a paraplegic – he was hit by a car several years ago while riding his motorcycle.
WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.
Kawasaki Issues Recall on Unauthorized Concours 14 Police Models
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Kawasaki announced a recall on 44 2012-2013 Concours 14 potentially faulty motorcycles allegedly converted for police use without the manufacturer’s consent. Back in early 2012, Kawasaki announced a recall on 278 2009-2012 Concours 14 police motorcycles because the add-on equipment installed by Idaho-based Beaudry Motors suffered electrical problems. According to the recall documents, the electrical system installed by Beaudry could overload the charging circuit between the regulator and the two batteries and eventually blow the main fuse.
