This auction is for a 2001 KZ1000- Kawasaki Police Motorcycle. This bike came from the Rancho Mirage Police Department near Palm Springs California, I got 2 from them and these were their (Back-Up) Motorcycles. The Police department maintains its vehicles with all scheduled maintenance and replacements of parts. I obtained this motorcycle (with 58,000 miles) for my personal collection and I used it very little. I also maintained this vehicle with scheduled maintenance and upgrades. I personally have done ALL the work with patience and care, I don't take shortcuts with my personal things. This Motorcycle is being sold "AS IS" with no warranty, what you see is what you get. You are more then welcome to come by and inspect the vehicle but I assure you will not be disappointed. This is also a "PICK-UP" only auction so you will need to make ALL the arrangements. Kawasaki Reveals Supercharged Inline-Four Engine
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Kawasaki announced it is developing what it calls the world’s first supercharger developed by a motorcycle manufacturer. The giant Japanese company called on its extensive experience in working with turbine engines, and distilled the technology for motorcycle applications, showing a supercharged Inline-Four engine at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. No details were given on the size of the sample engine, though diagrams included in Kawasaki’s patent applications for motorcycle superchargers include one image that looks vaguely similar to the Ninja ZX-14R.

Chris Vermeulen to Replace Colin Edwards at Le Mans
Wed, 09 May 2012NGM Forward Racing has named veteran MotoGP racer Chris Vermeulen the substitute rider for the injured Colin Edwards at the May 20 French Grand Prix at Le Mans. Vermeulen will ride the team’s BMW-powered Suter Claiming Rule machine. Vermeulen raced four full seasons in MotoGP from 2006-2009, all with the Rizla Suzuki team.
