For starters this was the first year of production of the ZX12R. They produced 1000's of green bikes but only 450 red. As of 2 years ago US DMV records showed only 9 red as being registered. That being said along with being a one owner bike showroom kept with only 2800 miles and all the extras mentioned in the listing I would say its RARE.

 I am listing this for an adult friend of mine . He has been a professional auto and motorcycle tech for over 45 years. Please refer ALL questions to him as I know very little about this RARE bike other than it is IMMACULATE. This is what I do know. It was purchased by him New 1n 2000 and has only 2814 miles. The motor is stock and has not been tampered with other than exhaust and a power commander. The 6"extended swingarm was custom fabricated by him.The wheels, swingarm, and other parts were chromed.The sprockets were replaced with anodized and chain was replaced with a heavy duty gold replacement. A high performance air shifter was added. Please do your Kawasaki homework as this is no run of the mill bike. 2014 World Supersport Provisional Entry List

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Supersport Championship, with 23 riders including two to be announced at a later date. The provisional lists includes riders representing four different manufacturers: Honda, Kawasaki, MV Agusta and Yamaha. Honda is the most popular manufacturer with ten riders (though two are listed as TBA).

Michael Dunlop led from start to finish to win the second Supersport TT race, giving him 10 TT victories in his career, tying him with the likes of Giacomo Agostini. Dunlop also joins sidecar racer Robert Fisher, Ian Lougher and Stanley Woods with 10 wins apiece, all tied for seventh overall on the all-time wins list. Riding his MD Racing Honda CBR600RR, Dunlop got off to a strong start, recording a time of 17:55.817 on the opening lap, giving him a 4.6-second advantage over fellow Honda rider Bruce Anstey.

Justin Barcia led all 20 laps to earn his first career victory in the 450cc class of the AMA Supercross Championship. The Team Honda Muscle Milk rider took the holeshot and never looked back to take his maiden win in front of 50,109 fans at Chase Field in Phoenix, Ariz. “I can’t tell you how excited I am right now,” says Barcia.
