Kawasaki Other description

I have for sale a 1983 Kawasaki GPz 1100 with original 2.2 miles. The bike was purchased in Yuma Az. and has spent it's life there. It was delivered to the customer on a truck, put into a garage, covered up with the included cover, and left untouched until about 2 months ago.

This bike is in new condition, with the exception of two scratches on the right side  (see photos) of the fuel tank, and one on the left side of the engine cover. There is a scratch in the front of the fairing, and the bolt holes on the wind screen have some stress fractures.

There are a few photos of the bike with the original dust on it, and the rest are after hosing off the dust. I have chosen to leave the bike as untouched other than the "wash".

The bike was started at the dealership prior to delivery in 1983, and there is a faint smell of gasoline in the tank, but there is no rust present in the tank. I have not tried to turn the engine over, or start it.

I am including some magazines and original brochures that came with the bike. The manual and tool kits remain unopened.

Original keys included.

The bike has original tires on it with printing on the tread, showing the originality of the bike. The original battery is included. It has never had acid in it. The bike was jump started back in 1983 by the dealer prior to delivery.

There has never been a plate mounted on the bike.

The title states 2 miles on it.

Feel free to contact me for more information as needed. I will require a certified check or cash prior to the bike being picked up. I will help to load the bike onto a truck or trailer for shipping, but the buyer is required to pay all shipping cost from my location.

I reserve the right to end the auction early, as the bike is for sale locally.

This is a 33 year old motorcycle. iIt is being sold as is where is. There is no warranty or guarantee.

Full payment is due within 7 days of end of auction.

Pickup within 10 day unless otherwise negotiated.

2014 AMA Supercross – Oakland Results

Mon, 27 Jan 2014

With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.

Kawasaki Donates Motorcycle In Support Of Ocean Conservation

Thu, 14 Aug 2014

Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. announced recently that it will donate a Ninja 650 sportbike for auction at the Oceana SeaChange Summer Party, attended by some of the largest supporters of Ocean Conservation in Hollywood including Ted Danson, Sheryl Crow and this year’s special guest, Leonardo DiCaprio. Proceeds from the auction of the Ninja 650 will go to Oceana’s mission of ocean conservation, a shared goal by Kawasaki who’s global mission is “working as one for the good of the planet.”  Some of Oceana’s victories include protecting Sperm Whales from California Fisheries, upholding Shark fin bans in the United States and many other policy victories for marine life and habitats in more than 150 countries.
