Kawasaki Other description

This is a very nice, running and driving 1979 Kawasaki KZ1000A Mkii that shows 28528 miles.  The bike is in excellent original condition and rides great.  The bike is all original except for the seat cover, and triple trees which were all put on by the previous owner with chrome (the gauges do not mount the same).  The side have been replaced and repainted, but I have extra side covers that have the correct "Mkii" badges on it.  Also included, is another set of foot pegs, gauges, rear brake pedal, and pilot light box.  The top of the tank is lightly faded, but still looks great.  It starts and runs excellent with a nice quiet engine.  The original exhaust is very nice and rot-free.

Meanwhile it was a bitter-sweet podium for third-place finisher KTM‘s Ryan Dungey who was officially mathematically eliminated from title contention. Racing in his home town of Seattle, Wash., Villopoto led every lap en route to an easy win, his fifth of the season.
