KZ650 Kawasaki This was a really nice find, it was kept in a barn and sat since 1983, it is absolutely a great bike, it is all original it seems to the best of our knowledge as I am not sure about the tires or not, with 9915 original miles the paint is in nice glossy condition with the exception of the small mare on the right hand side. It starts well with use of the choke and runs very nice through all the gears. There is some rusting on the very back of each muffler on the underside portion Just a wonderful color and wonderful bike. |

2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Ninja 650 and Versys Pegged for Recall
Wed, 07 Mar 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall for certain 2012 Ninja 250R and Ninja 650 sportbikes as well as the Versys 650 due to a risk of the passenger footpegs falling off. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the circlips on the footpegs’ mounting pins may break under engine vibrations, potentially leading the footpegs to detach. This poses a potential danger to the passenger.

2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R – 170 hp At The Wheel!
Fri, 12 Nov 2010A new, somewhat clandestine, video surfaced on YouTube just today revealing that Kawasaki’s new 2011 ZX-10R produces over 170 hp at the rear wheel in stock trim. Taking this at face value, that’s at least 17 hp more than the 2010 ZX-10R produced for us in our 2010 Literbike Shootout. This puts the new big Ninja within swinging distance of BMW’s S1000RR, that in the same shootout gave us just under 176 hp.
