Kawasaki Other tech info
Kawasaki Other description
Up for auction is a 1977 Kawasaki kz1000a that I just finished restoring. It is a 74 z1 replica. The bike was stripped down to the bare frame. I sandblasted the frame, motor mounts, headlight bucket, triple trees, etc and then powder coated them black. The body set is a brand new reproduction set from z1parts.net. The seat is a new unit from z1parts also, kz pan with z1 style seat and cover. The engine was a good runner so I did a valve job only. Carbs were rebuilt by OldSchoolCarbs and he did an excellent job with them. Lower fork tubes and all engine covers polished by Evans Detailing and they look beautiful. This bike rides great and turns alot of heads! beautiful classic. A few other parts that are new:
-Dyna 2000 electronic ignition -Pingel dual outlet petcock -All new motor mount hardware -grips -NGK plug caps -z1 motor mounts -z1parts rear grab bar -rubber frame grommets -Delkevic 4-1 stainless steel exhaust system -much more |

New Kawasaki H2R Tops 210 mph!
Fri, 03 Oct 2014The hype surrounding Kawasaki’s supercharged H2R has been as immense as its power output, said to be in the region of 300 horsepower. Intermot 2014: Kawasaki Ninja H2R Well, it appears the H2R’s speed capabilities are commensurate with the hype. “I went 210mph on it today,” said Kawasaki test rider and racer Jeremy Toye on his Instagram account on October 2, accompanied by a picture of an H2R.
Single-Cylinder Kawasaki Ninja Spotted in Indonesia
Tue, 31 Dec 2013Based solely on recent history, you’d think the engineers at Kawasaki are strong believers of the “bigger is better” philosphy. You need only look at the Ninja ZX-6R which shook off the shackles of the 600cc supersport segment with a 636cc displacement, then came the Ninja 300 replacing the 250. New spy photos from Indonesia, however suggest there’s still room for smaller engines from Team Green.
