For sale is a nice 1975 Kawasaki KZ900 Z1. Bike has 17,731 miles. Obviously this bike will need some restoration to bring it back to its full glory, but the good news is that I have a clear title in hand for it, and the motor turns over and has great compression. The carb slides are frozen, and I assume they will need a full rebuild. The brakes are also frozen open and will need work. Bike rolls nicely and feels pretty tight. Tank looks good, has a little rust inside but not hateful. Overall this is a great starting point for a rare Z1 resto project. Kawasaki has released another teaser for its upcoming revised ZX-14, now dubbed ZX-14R. In the first video, a couple of numbers are cryptically displayed: 84 x 65mm. This is a thinly veiled reference to its bore and stroke dimensions, indicating the biggest Ninja received a 4mm stroke elongation, which would bump the bike’s displacement from 1352cc to 1441cc.

Kawasaki Teases Ninja H2

Kawasaki announced it will unveil a new motorcycle called the Ninja H2 at the Intermot show on Sept. 30 and the evidence suggests it will be a new supercharged sportbike. The Japanese manufacturer first announced last November it was developing a supercharged I-4 engine at the Tokyo Motor Show, and the Ninja H2 announcement suggests that’s exactly what we’ll see in Cologne.

Steam Punk Bike

This steam-punk inspired bike is the work of LA based sculptor and, er, free thinker, Baron Margo. From what we can work out is uses an early eighties air-cooled Z1000 Kawasaki as a base and is cloaked in this hand beaten alloy and copper bodywork. Can’t imagine it’s much fun in a cross wind, though.
