For Sale: 1976 Kawasaki KZ900 LTD. -19,800 miles -

This bike has been painted in a beautiful candy blue. It has had a lot of work done and I have the receipts (over $1,900.00), for most parts and the work done at dealership. It has a new front fender,fork seals,brakes and Metzler tires. All brake line were flushed. I have also replaced a host of rubber parts to help ensure safety on the road. All gas tank rubber, side cover grommets, tail fin rubber, carb. holders between motor & carbs, air box rubbers as well as new clamps and bolts. New pingel gas petcock and mirrors. There is new rubber for the taillight base that was never put on. I have the original owners manual,and a service manual. Comes with a box of original take off parts (front fender,handlebars,turn signals,grab bar etc).

I am selling because I just don't have time to ride as a new hobby of restoring mini Honda's has taken all my spare time in the last few years. Bike was only started 2/3 times last year and may need some carb adjusting.

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.

Well Maxxis were bang on with their mileage claims, 6500 miles on the rear and it looks as though there is another 1000. Not bad at all for a set of tyres that cost less than £200. Having lived with the Supermaxx’s Diamonds over the past few months the best thing about these tyres is the mileage range they offer vs cost.
