It breaks my heart to sell this bike. All my instincts tell me not to, but even so… This classic motorcycle is in beautiful condition because it had been kept for 37 of the last 40 years. The gas tank and side panels had been painted a different color, but have now been returned to stock green. The exhaust pipes were also replaced by the original owner. They show some discoloration at the manifolds and pitting along the length, but are otherwise in good condition. The rims and spokes are shiny and rust free. The original owner replaced the original seat with a two-person seat. While the sissy-bar is not shown in the listed photographs, it is included with purchase. The tires are two years old and have seen 1,200 miles of use. They have a good bit of tread on them. All other parts and components of this vehicle are stock, manufacturer's parts. |

Mon, 23 Apr 2012The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. Mon, 03 Jun 2013We’re only three days into the racing action for the Isle of Man TT and one rider has already established himself as the star of this TT. Michael Dunlop, of the famous Dunlop racing family, took the victory at the Royal London 360 Superstock race, giving him his third win of the 2013 Isle of Man TT. The latest win gives Dunlop six in his career on the Mountain Course, tying him with such noted names as Geoff Duke, Jimmie Guthrie, Jim Redman and John Surtees.
