For almost a decade, no other bike has spent more time on AMA Supercross and Motocross podiums than the Kawasaki KX™250F. The race-proven technology of the quarter-liter motocross leader returns for 2013, with an all-new plug-and-play adjustable ECU, narrower new frame, upgraded Separate Function Fork (SFF) fork and slimmer ergonomics, so the KX250F is poised to continue its class dominance in 2013.
• Upgraded Showa Separate Function Fork (SFF) provides more progressive damping force and features larger-diameter 48mm inner fork tubes for improved rigidity and less stiction
• Dual injector Digital Fuel Injection system
• More robust high-rpm engine output extends deep into the overrev
• Stronger engine components improve reliability

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.

Kawasaki Celebrates 40th Anniversary of KX – Video

Mon, 08 Jul 2013

Kawasaki is marking the 40th anniversary of its KX dirt bike lineup with a special web page and a new documentary (look for Part 1 below). The KX legacy began in 1974 with the KX250 which was based on the works machine ridden by AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Jimmy Weinert in 1973. The KX Dirt Domination page highlights the successes of the KX line over the last 40 years, including its astounding run in AMA Supercross and Motocross over the last decade.

Kawasaki Special Edition Ninja Unveiled

Mon, 05 Jan 2009

In addition to Metallic Diablo Black, Sunbeam Red and Candy Thunder Blue, the 2009 Ninja 250R will be available in a Special Edition Lime Green and Metallic Diablo Black combination. The great-looking paint scheme of the new Special Edition Ninja 250R which features Kawi green with black side panels, echoes the MotoGP ZX-RR. This is a strange time to release such a bike since the British motorsports site Autosport.com recently reported that the Japanese manufacturer will announce its withdrawal from MotoGP racing on Jan.
