Kawasaki Patents Design for Naked Single

Kawasaki has registered a design patent for what appears to be a naked version of its recently revealed 250cc single-cylinder Ninja RR Mono. While the Ninja RR Mono (also known in some markets as the Ninja 250SL) is produced for the Asian market, the new design is registered with the European Union’s Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market, making it more likely to arrive in western markets. The detailed design renderings reveal many clues indicating this is a naked version of the RR Mono.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Toronto Results

Ryan Villopoto moved one step closer to repeating as AMA Supercross Champion with his seventh win of the season at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada. With his chief rivals not making the trip north of the border due to various injuries, Villopoto can clinch the 2012 championship as soon as next weekend’s race at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, if they continue to be out of action. Kawasaki Will Live The Legend With The Lone Ranger

Concentrating on a “Live the Legend” campaign line, Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A.  announced a tie-in with The Lone Ranger, starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer. The powersports manufacturer will use this re-imagining of the classic story to carry product messages for its off-road motorcycles, four-wheel vehicles and street motorcycles.
