Kawasaki KX description

Extremely clean gently used 2003 model Kawasaki KX250 2 stroke MX bike. This mint-condition bike has not been ridden much at all, hardly any paint has been worn off frame in footpeg area. Almost everything is original on it except: ProTaper billet top triple clamp with adjustable handlebar clamps (original OEM triple clamp included), Factory 909 aluminum handlebars, and a new Uni-Filter dual stage air cleaner element. Still has original Bridgestone M601 & M602 tires. This bike is in great shape, ready to race MX as-is, needs nothing. Would make great off-road or desert racer too! Also includes complete spare set of black Acerbis plastic. Sold on a Bill of Sale only, offered as-is, where is (Roswell, N.M.). Vintage bike trades considered. Pirelli To Remain Tire Supplier For All World Superbike Classes Through 2018

Pirelli’s relationship with the World Superbike Championship started in 2004 and will carry on through 2018, as the Italian company will continue to supply tires for every class of the championship. What follows is the official Pirelli press release. Pirelli has been confirmed as the Official Tire Supplier for all classes of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship having won the tender organized by Dorna, promoter and organizer of the World Championship, in agreement with the FIM, the International Motorcycling Federation.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the ground-breaking Kawasaki Z1 which made its public debut in 1972, becoming what many would regard as the world’s first superbike. Kawasaki’s first large-capacity four-stroke multi-cylinder motorcycle took center stage at the 1972  IFMA, the precursor to the INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany. Together with the Honda CB750, the Kawasaki Z1 helped spearhead the popularity of the Japanese Inline-Four.

Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto nabbed a hard-earned first victory of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, overcoming a poor start that saw him ninth after the first lap for the win. The three-time reigning champion found himself well back after the first corner as Yoshimura Suzuki‘s Jake Moss took the holeshot ahead of Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton and the KTM‘s Ryan Dungey. Brayton took over the lead by the second corner and would stay in front for the first 13 laps.
