Kawasaki KLR tech info
Kawasaki KLR description
2008 Kawasaki Klr 650, A great bike with heaps of upgrades. Highway pegs and enough cargo space to make it to patagonia make this bike great for taking your stuff to work or getting out and hitting some fire roads. Worldwide reputation of this bike was not earned in a magazine it was earned on the dirt/mud tracks of central america and africa. This KLR has been upgraded with this in mind. All oil changes and other routine maintenance has been done more often then needed. Still has plenty of miles on front and rear tire. A high windsheild makes riding on the slab more pleasant. Hand guards keep the thorns and small twigs out of your gloves. I will be selling the bike with a tourmaster jacket with all the vests and liners. I also have an HJC helmet (full face) I would include if the buyer needs. This bike has been through the colorado rocky mountains, New York's Adirondack and now the east coast woods. It has some minor scratches and normal wear and tear of a dual sport. Nothing structural or beyond minor. Will also include heated hand grips(not installed) and a new light kit for the turns and brake (also not installed). The original factory windshield will also be included. Please contact me to see the bike and if you want to test ride it. Motorcycle license needed to test it, and of course you break it you buy it. I had a bad experience a few years ago with my BMW 650. This is a great bike I am sad to have to let go but need to get rid of extra stuff. $5,350.00 7208784084

Motorcycle Sidecar is Literally a Car
Tue, 21 Jul 2009Adjectives fail me. This almost seems like one of those sci-fi movies where an evil scientist tries to cross two deadly animals together to create the ultimate killing machine. So what are we looking at? It seems to be the deformed love child of a Citroën Xantia and a Kawasaki 1000 RX. This custom project, called “Snaefell“, cost its creator about 15000 Euros and 10 years of part time work.
Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season
Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
