1981 Kawasaki KL 250 motorcycle
This bike is in wonderful overall condition for its age. The red paint is in excellent condition, with minor fading to the plastic pieces. The fuel tank has a small dent, their is a minor tear in the seat, and the turn indicators are no longer on the bike, other than that it is in great working order. I bought this bike new in 1982 and it has been garage kept all of its life. I used this bike mostly for trail riding and a few small trips across town. There is less than 9000 miles on it. It runs great and usually starts off on the first or second kick. Great bike for the beginner, a short commute to work, or just out enjoying the trails. Please email with any questions. Thu, 24 May 2012The estate of legendary motorcycle racer and all around fun guy, Gary Nixon, will go on auction June 16,2012, in York, PA. Nixon passed in August, 2011, while recovering from heart surgery. A two-time AMA Grand National Champion (1967 – ’68), Nixon was an accomplished flattrack and road racer. He was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1998.
Corbin Bleu Rides to Promote Free Style
Mon, 14 Sep 2009If you’ve got a tween girl in your life you’re probably aware that High School Musical star Corbin Bleu has a new motocross-inspired movie “Free Style” coming out on October 9. Bleu and some of his co-stars were on hand at a Kawasaki event at Piru Motocross Park in Piru, California to promote the film and the actor/singer took to the track. Bleu got geared up and took a KLX110 and a KLX140 around the track to have a little fun.
