Up for bidding is my 1985 KDX 200. I recently put a ton of work into this bike with intentions of riding it myself, but I simply don't have the time to ride. The bike starts right up, shifts, and handles well. It does smoke quite a bit when you first start it up, but that goes away after a couple minutes. The smoking could simply be that the new piston rings need to wear in still. I've literally only ridden this bike down the street a couple times since it was rebuilt. Cosmetically this bike is not too bad for the age. Seat is in excellent shape, Most plastics are in ok shape with the exception of the rear fender (see picture). I do not know if the lights work, I have not bothered to buy new bulbs for the bike. I do not have a title for the bike. Local pickup only. Deposit required within 24 hours of winning bid. Kawasaki Reports Q3 2013-2014 Sales Results
Thu, 30 Jan 2014Kawasaki reported the fourth-consecutive profitable quarter from its Motorcycle & Engine business, with an operating income of 1.5 billion yen (US$14.6 million) for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2013. Through the first three quarters of its 2013-2014 fiscal year, Kawasaki’s Motorcycle & Engine division earned a operating income of 4.0 billion yen (US$38.9 million), compared to a loss of 2.0 billion yen over the same period in the year before.

Fri, 15 Feb 2013You may remember last fall’s release of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R was accompanied by a mind-blowing short video commercial of a rider screaming around the 37.33-mile Isle of Man TT course aboard the new 636 Ninja. Now, Team Green has just released a “Making Of” video about the production of that video, featuring TT star James Hillier. This behind-the-scenes short film shows the crew capturing Hillier as he passes within millimeters of the camera. You’ll see the camera-equipped pursuit bike racing side-by-side with Hillier, as well as the aerial heli-cam.
2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R – 170 hp At The Wheel!
Fri, 12 Nov 2010A new, somewhat clandestine, video surfaced on YouTube just today revealing that Kawasaki’s new 2011 ZX-10R produces over 170 hp at the rear wheel in stock trim. Taking this at face value, that’s at least 17 hp more than the 2010 ZX-10R produced for us in our 2010 Literbike Shootout. This puts the new big Ninja within swinging distance of BMW’s S1000RR, that in the same shootout gave us just under 176 hp.
