1971 Kawasaki H1 Mach III 500cc Two stroke triple cylinder. This bike is 85% complete with bill of sale. It'll make a great restoration project or radical 70's screamer. Bike is better then pictured. ( I'm not a photographer, haha) I bought this bike from the same guy as the titled 1972 H2 listed in another auction, I have a bill of sale in his name. It was last plated in Washington state ( original Longview, WA bike ) . Kicks over freely with good compression. This bike has also been repainted and had some 70's era cosmetic mods, such as long fork tubes ( frame NOT cut! ), head light, seat/pan, tail cowl and handle bars. I'm sure with a little elbow grease you'd get this guy fire up in no time. The guy I bought it from drove it into a barn and parked it after getting a DUII on it. ( I can't imagine being drunk on a triple! Don't try that at home guys, haha) I'm selling off my triples because I just don't have the time to dedicate to them and I'd like to see them go to someone that'll get them back terrorizing the street, scaring dogs and killing plant life! 2014 WSBK – Laguna Seca Results
Mon, 14 Jul 2014Marco Melandri rebounded from last week’s disappointing Portimao round to win Race One at Laguna Seca while Tom Sykes extended his championship lead with a win in a red-flagged Race Two. Melandri got taken out of the second Portimao race after his Aprilia teammate Sylvain Guintoli slid into his RSV4. Melandri looked eager to make up for that DNF, leading every lap of Race One on his way to his third win of the season.
Kawasaki Reports Q3 2011-2012 Results
Wed, 01 Feb 2012Kawasaki reported a net profit of 33.7 billion yen (US$441.9 million) for the nine months ended Dec. 31, 2011, but its motorcycle and engine division continues to operate at a loss. The motorcycle and engine division, which also includes ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft and power products, operated at a loss of 4.58 billion yen (US$60.1 million) over the first three quarters of Kawasaki‘s 2011-2012 fiscal year, including a loss of 2.2 billion yen (US$28.9 million) in the third quarter alone.
WSBK 2013: Moscow Race Report
Mon, 22 Jul 2013Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
