KTM Other description

You are bidding on a 2009 KTM 200 XCW.

The bike is fast but very torquey. For a few years the 200 came in a frame similar to the 125 so it feels nimble and light. The suspension was set up by Hygear suspension. It currently has an oversized fuel tank and an FMF pipe and muffler.

Included in the auction is some spare plastic, the original gas tank and muffler, and a new spare cylinder.

Other than a little rust on the spokes, and a few small dents in front of the pipe, there's nothing wrong with the bike. I just have too many toys and a change in employment means I have to sell some off.

I require a deposit at auction end and the rest in cash upon pickup. I also require pickup in a reasonable amount of time. I can't ship the bike so it's for local pick up only.

Thank you and good luck bidding.

Check out Indian motorcycle journo Aneesh Shivanekar's average morning, filmed as he rode his KTM Duke 200 between the Mumbai suburbs of Andheri and Bandra (a distance of about 7 miles, or half his one-way journey). And no, he's not Jesse Mach; this GoPro footage is sped up 8x.

EICMA 2012: KTM 390 Duke Announced – Let’s Hope It Comes to North America

Tue, 13 Nov 2012

KTM made a big entrance on the small-displacement streetbike segment in 2011 with its 125 Duke and in 2012, the 200 Duke. Both models were popular sellers in Europe while the 200 had a successful launch in India, home of one of KTM‘s largest owners, Bajaj. North American consumers were left out however, as neither of the smaller Dukes were imported to these shores.
