Hi, came close to selling this bike recently on eBay so thought I would raise the stakes and remove the reserve! The ONLY reason I am selling this beast of a bike, I bought this thinking I would store it by the Santa Ana Mountains (40 miles away) and drive out there weekly to ride it on the dirt..unfortunately I got made redundant after i purchased the bike so having a full dirt bike setup in the middle of Hollywood I decided to swap the wheels out for the street (that was in August) the bike has since been sitting in the garage..I have taken it around the neighborhood a couple of times and in the canyons twice and this thing is just PHENOMENAL lighter than a 690 SMC with the same power and if you have ever ridden on of those thumpers you will immediately know the attraction.. One of these rules states: if someone offers to loan you a bike while you’re in town visiting, you say, “Yes, please.” And so it was that I found myself standing next to a KTM 250 Duke, calmly contemplating my odds of surviving SoCal freeways on a 30-horsepower (claimed, at the crank) bike.
