KTM EXC tech info
KTM EXC description
2007 KTM Exc 525, Renthal fat bars, Acerbis bark busters, Skid plate, New KTM stealth sprockets, New EK gold O-ring chain, New tires (have about 100 miles on them), JD jet kit (proper jets already installed), Newer style headlight and front fender (still have originals), Dirt Tricks domed countershaft washer, KTM cooling fan, Heavier progressive rear spring (still have original), New TwinAir air filter, Replaced the big bulky license plate holder with smaller KTM unit, Smaller folding mirrors. The bad: The front turn signals work, but the rubber on them is dry rotted. Other than that, there is nothing wrong with this bike. ***** Brand new Acerbis 6.6 gallon tank. Still new in the box.***** I even have an extra petcock so I wouldn't have to take the one off of the stock tank if you switch them out. The tank is $350 from a dealer. I'll sell the tank for $300 shipped or $225 local pick up. It runs very strong. Motor has never been touched. $4,200.00 2252810185

2014 AMA Supercross – Indianapolis Results
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Ryan Dungey captured his first win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season in a wild main event that saw two of the top title contenders crashing on the starting straight at Indianapolis‘ Lucas Oil Stadium. Smartop MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi took the holeshot for the second race in a row, but the big news was incoming points leader Ryan Villopoto and Ken Roczen going down before the first turn. Roczen trailed Villopoto by nine points going into the Indianapolis round, but the KTM rookie’s hopes of overtaking the reigning champion took a blow when he went down on the straight, knocking Villopoto off in the process.
Under the Skin of a KTM RC8 R-Powered Sidecar Racer
Thu, 23 May 2013If you’ve never seen a sidecar race, you’d be amazed at how different it is from motorcycle racing. Not only do you have some entirely different physics at work with the third wheel, you also have a passenger sprawled over the chassis behind the rider, sticking his body out to either side at lean angles that would make Marc Marquez break a sweat. Check out the video after the jump to see for yourself.
Day 1 Dakar 2014: Barreda Draws First Blood
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Team HRC’s Joan Barreda on the Honda CRF450 Rally, got off to a storming start in day one of the 2014 Dakar rally, clocking up the fastest time of all the 175 riders at the first time-check. The former Husqvarna rider who moved to Honda in the middle of the season inaugurated his 2014 Dakar with an acrobatic performance. The motorcycle competition was expected to be wide open, and that is indeed what the classification shows after the opening stage. It was a very early start for the Rally Dakar. The pack of riders headed off at four in the morning on a long 251 miles that took them towards the vibrant city of Rosario for the start of the 112 mile special.
