1918 POWERPLUS Indian Hendee, Model N, 61"ci Hedstrom Cannonball Race Engine. It is an extremely rare engine! The engine was sitting in a barn since 1962. The motor is COMPLETE and it spins freely. It will probably start with a little bit of mechanical knowledge. There appears to be no damage, except for a couple of broken fins on the cylinders. Please review all photos carefully before bidding. The motor comes with a bill of sale. Shipping will be calculated at the end of the auction. Crating the engine will be $150 extra on shipping. Polaris Reports Q1 2014 Sales Results
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Polaris Industries reported a 52% increase in motorcycle revenues over the first quarter of 2014, thanks in large part to the addition of Indian Motorcycles. Motorcycle sales generated $78.9 million in sales revenue for Polaris, compared to $51.8 million in the same quarter last year. The key thing to remember however, is Indian Motorcycles wasn’t relaunched until late summer, so last year’s first quarter sales were made up almost entirely of Victory Motorcycles.

Wed, 05 Feb 2014Hero MotoCorp may fly a bit below the radar of most American motorcycle enthusiasts, but the Indian manufacturer has emerged as a leader in alternative fuel technologies for two-wheeled vehicle. First came the Hero Leap hybrid scooter (which is now ready to enter serial production), then came the RNT 150 diesel hybrid concept revealed last week. Today, Hero revealed another new concept, this one an electric motorcycle with a hydrogen fuel cell extender at the 2014 India Auto Expo.
