1918 POWERPLUS Indian Hendee, Model N, 61"ci Hedstrom Cannonball Race Engine.
It is an extremely rare engine!

The engine was sitting in a barn since 1962.
The motor is COMPLETE and it spins freely.  It will probably start with a little bit of mechanical knowledge.

There appears to be no damage, except for a couple of broken fins on the cylinders.

Please review all photos carefully before bidding.

The motor comes with a bill of sale.

Shipping will be calculated at the end of the auction.  Crating the engine will be $150 extra on shipping. Also, Buyer can arrange shipping.
Wait for me to send you an invoice before you make a payment.

Polaris Reports Q1 2014 Sales Results

Wed, 23 Apr 2014

Polaris Industries reported a 52% increase in motorcycle revenues over the first quarter of 2014, thanks in large part to the addition of Indian Motorcycles. Motorcycle sales generated $78.9 million in sales revenue for Polaris, compared to $51.8 million in the same quarter last year. The key thing to remember however, is Indian Motorcycles wasn’t relaunched until late summer, so last year’s first quarter sales were made up almost entirely of Victory Motorcycles.

1st-Ever NYC Motorcycle Film Festival Sept. 26-28

Mon, 09 Sep 2013

In case you hadn’t noticed, we’re in the midst of the biggest creative boom centered around motorcycles since the 1970s. The massive, youthful rise of moto-mania has excited big motorcycle factories to collaborate with rising garage artists, and has inspired professional filmmakers to produce that long-dreamt-about motorcycle feature film. Every customizer has an in-house photographer and a YouTube channel; media platforms from magazines to television shows are swamped in advertisements featuring riders and bikes; and biker fashion is all the rage on the streets, sidewalks and runways from Venice to Williamsburg.

Hero MotoCorp may fly a bit below the radar of most American motorcycle enthusiasts, but the Indian manufacturer has emerged as a leader in alternative fuel technologies for two-wheeled vehicle. First came the Hero Leap hybrid scooter (which is now ready to enter serial production), then came the RNT 150 diesel hybrid concept revealed last week. Today, Hero revealed another new concept, this one an electric motorcycle with a hydrogen fuel cell extender at the 2014 India Auto Expo.
