This Indian chief was sold as Lot 501 at the Steve McQueen Estate Auction November 24-25, 1984 at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The certificate of authenticity from Terry McQueen and Chad McQueen at the 1984 Estate Auction, Engine is 1926 74ci with 1930 chassis(can’t find frame no. on rear axle plate) Sitting in museum after 1984 Imperial place auction. Missing muffler.(lost when It shipped to Japan) The bike was built the same year McQueen was born I do not have a title for this motorcycle so it will be sold as is with a bill of sale and certificate This Indian Chief is a non-refundable sale. In fact, according to the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC), women riders increased by 34% between 1998 and 2003. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) also says women make up nearly 30% of students in its Basic RiderCourses program.

Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction Rakes In $1.8 Million

  A collection of classic motorcycles including some owned by the Du Pont family was auctioned by Bonhams in Las Vegas, with sales reaching $1.8 million, nearly double the pre-auction estimates. The auction included 50 motorcycles and 113 lots of spare parts from the Du Pont family including some from the personal collection of E. Paul du Pont, founder of Du Pont Motors and one-time president of Indian Motorcycles.
