2012 Husqvarna TXC 250 R, The success of Husqvarna???s signature Red Head on the 2012 TC 250 has led it to find its way on all of Husky???s small-bore four-strokes in 2013, including the re-vamped TXC 250 R. The new red head isn???t all the quarter-liter off-roader gets this year. As well as a shot in the arm in the power department, the suspension has been upgraded to complement the more aggressive new motor. The TXC 250 R not only has a racier nature for 2013, but offers the absolute lightest handling when it comes to cross-country competition bikes.

New 2014 Husqvarna Models – Get Your Two-Strokes Here!
Tue, 08 Oct 2013To celebrate its 110th birthday this year, Husqvarna is offering no less than ten different North American models including two-strokes and four-strokes and sizes ranging from 85cc to 501cc. Several of Husqvarna’s innovations can be found on the 2014 machines – most notably the polyamide rear subframe. Housing the airbox and electronics of each model, the high-tech composite construction of the polyamide subframe is designed to offer optimum rigidity while also allowing more flex than a traditional aluminum structure (polyamide will bend back into place unlike aluminum). The innovative subframe is applied to every new Husqvarna – even the TCs which marks the first time a composite rear subframe has been offered on a production two-stroke motocrosser. Each model in the 2014 line also utilizes WP front suspension mounted by Husqvarna’s distinctive CNC-machined black triple clamps.
McQueen’s Husky on the Auction Block
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Thirty-two years after his death, Steve McQueen still reigns as the coolest movie star to ever ride a motorcycle. One of his preferred brands was Husqvarna (another, seen here, was Triumph) and to the delight of motorcycle enthusiasts and McQueen fans alike, one of his bikes will soon be in the hands of a new owner. This 1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross owned and ridden by Steve McQueen will be up for auction on January 10th, at Bally’s Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, by Bonhams. The motorcycle comes with an exhaustive quantity of documents supporting its provenance and authenticity.
