This kit is suitable for all Husabergs:

1998-2008

You can actually feel the difference in performance.

The biggest benefit is that they are reliable.

OEM 'conicals' can break

The damage can be nothing, just poor starting

Or worse case a "destructo" engine.

Taffmeisters Dual Valve Spring kit is for all 4 valves

and comes with written instructions on getting the 'installed height' right

(the compressed length of the springs).

Taffmeisters Dual valve spring kit are a straight fit for the 2004 engines.

The earlier engines will require a little rotary filing before fitting.

The head should be removed ideally for this task and if the engine has been thrashed at all - look for tuliped valves.

Later 2007 & 2008s are you getting broken valve springs or spring caps,

are they distorting the stem of the valve.

Reunited: Husqvarna and Husaberg Merge

When Pierer Industrie AG purchased Husqvarna from BMW in January, it was obvious some major changes were on their way. Pierer Industries AG is owned by Stefan Pierer, who happens to be chief executive officer of KTM, which also happens to be the parent company of Husaberg. That’s three European motorcycle manufacturers with strong off-road lineages in the same family.

US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results

The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .

2014 Husaberg Lineup Announced – Final Edition Before Husqvarna Merger

Husaberg may soon be no more, but that hasn’t stopped the Austria-based Swedish brand from unveiling its 2014 lineup of seven models. News broke last week of plans to reunite Husaberg with Husqvarna, to be known as Husqvarna Sportmotorcycle GmbH as of October 2013, making lineup of of seven off-road bikes including both two- and four-stroke models the final traces of the Husaberg as an independent brand. These 2014 models will also give us some indication of what to expect from the new Husqvarna models.
