Honda XR description

2009 Honda XR650L, Very clean dual-purpose XR650L, with just under 8,000 miles! - For sale at our dealership, we have this delightful dual-purpose Honda! Legal to ride on streets and highways, yet versatile enough for trails and terrain- this bike can do it all! In excellent condition, and with exactly 7.572 miles, this 650cc machine is quite a steal for the price. We're asking $5,195 for this XR; we always enjoy considering trade-in's, and we always welcome offers! It all starts in the engine room, where the XR's potent, Baja-bred 644 cubic centimeter OHC powerplant uses Honda's patented Radial Four-Valve Combustion Chamber (RFVC) to put out huge torque and power. From there, a gear-driven counterbalancer minimizes vibrations, while a light, rigid chassis and long-travel suspension soak up the bumps and deliver superb handling on pavement and off. Handy electric starting simply makes it all that much easier. The XR650L. The name is new, but it's as good as ever.

Honda is recalling 22,142 motorcycles from shipments produced between 2010 and 2016. The reason was the vibration from the engine, which over time leads to chafing of the fall sensor wire in the common harness. Dealers promise to move the wire to another location and replace the sensor free of charge.
