I bought this 2 plus years ago for my grandson. This is the last summer I am going to clean the carb and prepare for it him. He is not interested.
I put new tires on this year and cleaned carb. It runs fine and is in great shape. You will need to tune carb if you plan on restricting, Needs a higher idle. AZ bike storage like jets in the desert. Comes with training wheels. Overall a great little starter bike. Will not deliver. Need to pay deposit of $150 within 24 hours of auction end. Balance due prior to pickup. I will work with you. Day 1 Dakar 2014: Barreda Draws First Blood
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Team HRC’s Joan Barreda on the Honda CRF450 Rally, got off to a storming start in day one of the 2014 Dakar rally, clocking up the fastest time of all the 175 riders at the first time-check. The former Husqvarna rider who moved to Honda in the middle of the season inaugurated his 2014 Dakar with an acrobatic performance. The motorcycle competition was expected to be wide open, and that is indeed what the classification shows after the opening stage. It was a very early start for the Rally Dakar. The pack of riders headed off at four in the morning on a long 251 miles that took them towards the vibrant city of Rosario for the start of the 112 mile special.
New MotoGP Rules for ECU and Factory Status for 2014
Fri, 26 Jul 2013The Grand Prix Commission released new rules for the 2014 MotoGP season regarding the standard electronic control unit and what constitutes “factory status” for manufacturers. Starting in 2014, the official MotoGP ECU including internal datalogger from Magneti Marelli will become mandatory. Factory teams will be allowed to program their own ECU software while privateers will be required to run the standard software.
