Repsol Honda Signs Marquez and Pedrosa for 2013 MotoGP Season
Thu, 12 Jul 2012Honda Racing Corporation announced it has signed rising Spanish talent Marc Marquez to a two-year contract on its factory team. He will race alongside Dani Pedrosa who signed a two-year contract extension with Honda to race in the 2013 MotoGP Championship. Marquez currently leads the Moto2 Championship by 43 points for the Catalunya Caixa Repsol team after finishing second in the series in 2011.

Wed, 28 Jul 2010Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others. Most of the time Rossi and Gibernau came together, it was a classic in the making but while Rossi on the factory Honda hunting down Gibernau on the satellite Honda is well worth watching, the threat of a looming Bayliss on the Ducati makes this one even better. Gibernau, fresh from a win in Germany at the previous round - having beaten Rossi to the line by 0.060 seconds - was full of fight.
