Honda VTX description

Always garaged, just over 16k miles. Very minor wear here and there, but nothing noticeable. Clean and well maintained. Comes with Vance & Hines Big Shots, a cone style American Thunder Intake, power commander with custom dyno tune (120lb/ft of torque!). All of the chrome still looks great, and the stock airbox and exhaust are also available. Also included in the sale are a craftsman motorcycle jack and an oil filter wrench. The bike is equipped with speed bleeders on all brake calipers and the clutch master cylinder, making maintenance a breeze! Fresh fluid in all reservoirs.

This bike was purchased used in 2008 with ~2000 miles on it. Most of the mileage was earned on the I-10 between Phoenix and Tucson.

Payment must be complete within a week of the sale and before the transfer of the title.

Electric Motorcycle Conversion [video]

If you were ever curious how to convert your smelly, noisy and dirty gas powered motorcycle into a quiet and zero emissions electric motorcycle then you have to check this video out from GomiStyle. They take an old Honda Rebel 250 and customize the frame to accommodate the electric motor and batteries, they claim the conversion should take about two to three days to complete, the batteries will take about 5-8 hours to charge and will give you a top speed of 45 mph. Who doesn’t love Halloween? Well my neighbor down the street who turns off all his lights and flips the sprinklers on for Halloween night doesn’t, but he’s a jerk. Honda was in a Halloween spirit when they came up with this ad campaign consisting of some of their rides “dressed” in ridiculous outfits.

Honda MotoGP Testing Idled By Engine Failure Investigation

A red warning light prevented Honda riders from taking part in the second day of MotoGP testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. While its competitors were hitting the track, Honda was forced to wait for analysis on the engine of Dani Pedrosa‘s RC213V. A red warning light on the RC213V’s dash came on late in the first day of testing, indicating a potential failure.
