Posting this for my wife's uncle, he recently went into a nursing home. 2005 Honda VTX1300R, the "R" stands for retro. Classic cruiser look with big fenders and foot boards. Bike is in nice shape, showing no signs of ever being dropped or laid down. Front tire is worn out and will need replacement. Rear tire is good for at least another season. I don't know the maintenance history of the bike, but it does run well. Handling is a little sketchy because of the worn front tire. I hear a noise from the front brakes kind of like the rotor has a little runout. Wheels show some oxidation and could use a good cleaning. Other than that she runs good. 47K miles. MotoGP Axes Claiming Rule and Adjusts Moto2 Engine Swap Fees
Wed, 03 Jul 2013The International Motorcycling Federation‘s Grand Prix Commission officially annulled MotoGP‘s Claiming Rule. Effective immediately, teams using the official spec Magneti Marelli ECU hardware and software are exempt from having their engines claimed. Starting in the 2014 season however, the claiming rule will be cancelled completely.
