Honda VTX tech info
Honda VTX description
This bike was involved in an accident. It was not hit by another vehicle, the bike was laid down. It has nearly brand new front and rear Metzler tires and brake pads. 18,919 miles. Other than the damage listed below the rest of the bike is in very good condition for a 2003 model. This bike runs and drive fine (no handling issues from the accident) It has a clear title. Normally we part bikes out, but we thought this one is too close to being a nice cruiser, so we decided to try to sell it whole first. With a little TLC and a few bolt on parts, this bike can be made 100% again without too much work. Pick this project bike up and save hundreds or even thousands dollars over a comparable model!
The bike needs: A gas tank (large dents, but does not leak). Handlebars and grips, driver footpegs, foot shift lever/pedal, clutch lever, (all bent) A headlight bucket/holder, all four turn signals, a right mirror. The front fender and left rear shock body are dented, but still function. Areas of rash: small amount on right footpeg/foot brake lever, top of air cleaner, underside and end of exhaust pipes, left rear shock body, left rear lower frame, left footpeg and gear shifter (please look at pictures closely) Contact us with any additional questions. |

Stoner Tops Day One of Sepang Test – Video
Tue, 28 Feb 2012It’s been about a month since Casey Stoner last tested the Honda RC213V racebike at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit but the defending World Champion remains the man to beat, setting the fastest lap at the first day of MotoGP’s February Sepang test. Heavy rain limited teams’ testing and Stoner only completed 16 laps but still managed to set a time of 2:01.761. Stoner was the only rider to lap under 2:02, though his Repsol Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa came close with a time of 2:02.005 while completing 36 laps.
