Honda Shadow description

2001 HONDA VT1100 SHADOW SPIRIT


The 2001 Honda Shadow has been kept in immaculate condition. The color is a blue metallic and is near flawless. The paint shines and has no major flaws or imperfections. There are 4 small scratches on the left side rear fender.(see picture) All the chrome is in excellent condition as well. The seat and saddle bags are flawless and have no tears or holes. The exhaust is stock. Although this bike has 22k miles it shows as if it has 2k miles. The front and rear tires have about 80% tread life left. The brakes are new. The oil/filter has been changed. All the lights and gauges work 100%. The bike has been safety inspected and should pass state inspection with no problems. The bike has been on a reliability run and the motor, clutch and transmission all work and sound as they should.

14-Year-Old Canadian Stacey Nesbitt First Woman to Win a National Road Racing Title

Quebec teenager Stacey Nesbitt has won the Canadian Superbike Championship’s 2011 Honda CBR125R Challenge title. We’re still checking, but organizers are already calling Nesbitt the first woman to win a  national road racing championship (excluding women-only categories). The 14-year-old from St-Lazare, Quebec, swept both Honda CBR125R Challenge races in the season finale at Mosport International Raceway in Bowmanville, Ontario, to win the title with 421 points, 52 points ahead of runner-up Austin Shaw-O’Leary.

More European Consumers Choosing Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission

Honda‘s work developing its second-generation dual clutch transmission appears to be paying off, at least in Europe. According to Honda, customers have purchased more than 12,500 units with DCT since the technology was first made available on a production motorcycle with the VFR1200F in 2010. The Japanese manufacturer now offers four models in Europe with optional DCT: the VFR1200F, the NC700X, the NC700S, and the Crosstourer.
