Honda Shadow description

2011 Honda Shadow Phantom (VT750C2B), Shadow Phantom - Black is Beautiful. The first time you lay eyes on the Shadow Phantom, it’s impossible to keep yourself from staring. Gawking, really. And wishing you had one in your garage. After all, this is the most unique Shadow Honda has ever made, an utterly stunning head-turner with its blacked-out 745 cc V-twin engine and black rims sporting matte silver highlights, bobbed fenders, spoke wheels, and beefy front forks. Then the exhaust note hits you, a deep, throaty pulse rumbling from dual exhausts. It’s hard to resist, we know. And downright impossible once you’ve seen its price tag. This 2011 Honda Shadow Phantom with a super low 113 miles was just traded in at our dealership. Priced at $5999 this bike is a STEAL! Loaded with extras that include a windshield, a Willie & Max windshield bag, Cobra floor boards, a passenger backrest and a luggage rack this bike is priced to sell. It runs, rides, shifts and looks just like new! Its perfect! Call Ian with internet sales at 713-644-7535 to buy this Honda today!

Honda’s V-4 History

Tue, 06 Oct 2009

As Honda prepares its new VFR1200 for its official unveiling, the red-wing company has set up a website detailing its long involvement in V-4 engines. It began back in 1979 with the introduction of the NR500 grand prix racebike. Rather than fielding a 500cc two-stroke engine, Honda used a four-stroke oval-piston V-4 motor – essentially a V-8 with four cylinders that could be revved to 19,500 rpm!

Chasing Summer – Baja Champions Star in Red Bull Web Series [Video]

Wed, 18 Jan 2012

Kendall Norman and Cody Quinn are starring in a new YouTube video series produced by Red Bull, featuring the two multiple-time Baja winners preparing for the 2011 Baja 1000. The two riders teamed up with Hollywood stunt rider Logan Holladay to win the 2011 Baja 1000 for the JCR Honda team in November. To prepare for the competition, Norman, a six-time Baja 1000 and Baja 500 champion, and Quinn, four-time Baja 1000 winner, rode  Honda CRF450Xs on a 12-day, 2800-mile off-road trip exploring the terrain between San Diego and Baja.

Stoner Tops Time Sheets as Honda MotoGP Testing Resumes

Thu, 01 Mar 2012

Missing a day of testing didn’t appear to have a negative effect on Honda riders Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa. After missing the second day of testing because of a potential engine problem, the Repsol Honda riders were back on the track for Day 3 where they regained the top two spots on the time sheets. Honda held back Stoner and Pedrosa as well as satellite team riders Alvaro Bautista and Stefan Bradl yesterday to investigate an engine warning light that lit up on the dash of Pedrosa’s RC213V on Day 1.
