Honda Shadow description

Selling our 2009 Honda Areo Shadow 750 only because my wife has developed a health problem and at age 73 has decided to quite driving her own motorcycle.
We bought the motorcycle as a second owner from the dealer in Spearfish, SD with 1500 miles in 2012 and she is the only one who has ridden it. Has always been inside the garage when not in use.

I believe this motorcycle is as clean and close to new condition as you will find any where. We have installed Vance and Hines mufflers, also have the originals, a computerized self canceling turn signal indicator system, rear safety lights, windshield, luggage rack, backrest, engine guards, saddle bags, and tank pouch.

The tires are nearing the need for replacement and have considered that in the pricing.

When we are out this motorcycle will run with ease right along with my Harley Road Glide and with the water cooled engine is actually more pleasant to ride when it is hot. Has no lack of power for passing or in the mountains. Just a good motorcycle but it is time to sell it.

Buyer will be responsible for delivery or pick up. I want a deposit of $500.00 upon successful bid within 24 hours and must have cash for the balance before the motorcycle leaves our garage.

I will answer any questions you may have as promptly as I see them.

Thu, 15 May 2014

A newly-published patent application reveals Honda is working on a retro-styled dual sport. The application, filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, reveals a streetbike with round headlight and mirrors but with hand guards, wire spokes and a high-rising exhaust suggesting some off-road capability.

GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full

Wed, 13 Oct 2010

Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong.  As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.

Honda to Shift Mid and Large Displacement Motorcycle Production to Thailand

Tue, 29 Nov 2011

Honda is reportedly moving production of 400cc and larger motorcycles to Thailand from Japan to reduce production costs and overcome the rising value of the yen. According to Japanese news outlet Daily Yomiuri, Honda plans to produce 400cc and 500cc models at a new factory to be built in the suburbs of Bangkok, Thailand. Honda currently produces small displacement models such as the CBR250R in Thailand, with larger models coming out of Honda’s factory in Kumamoto, Japan.
