Honda CBR300R Confirmed for Canada for 2015

It’s taken a while, but the Honda CBR300R has finally been confirmed for North America, as Honda Canada announced it would be available in the fall as a 2015 model. American Honda has yet to announced whether it would offer the CBR300R, but with today’s announcement of the NM4 and PCX150, we expect the CBR250R replacement will also be coming a a 2015 model. Casey Stoner Testing The Honda RC213V At Motegi – Video

Casey Stoner made a surprise return to MotoGP recently, participating in a two-day test with former employer, Honda. Check out the video below to see the former champ in action. The test took place at the Honda-owned Motegi circuit, where Stoner rode the 2013 model in the morning session before switching to 2014 machinery — the same spec bikes Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez currently pilot — in the afternoon.  Unfortunately, the Australian only managed six laps during the first day of testing due to rain, but completed 47 laps the following day when conditions were much better.

More European Consumers Choosing Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission

Honda‘s work developing its second-generation dual clutch transmission appears to be paying off, at least in Europe. According to Honda, customers have purchased more than 12,500 units with DCT since the technology was first made available on a production motorcycle with the VFR1200F in 2010. The Japanese manufacturer now offers four models in Europe with optional DCT: the VFR1200F, the NC700X, the NC700S, and the Crosstourer.
