Honda Shadow description

1999 Honda Shadow Aero VT1100C3. Good running condition with low miles (only 5,660 miles) and many extras.

The 1998-2000 models have the "single pin" engine which provided the Harley sound. Fun bike to ride. I added the Slipstreamer windshield ($400 retail with hardware) and the Mutazu hard saddlebags ($400 with hardware). The bike has the rare chrome front wheel hub (no longer available), backrest and chrome luggage rack, along with the chrome fender tips shown in the photos. Bike has new front tire and battery. Great deal at this price for a special bike, with very low mileage and the optional parts described above. Located in NW Reno, Nevada for inspection.

Email me if you want more pictures.  Bike is subject to local sale and may be withdrawn from Ebay at any time.

Mental Monkey video

Words fail me. Presumably, if your pockets are deep enough to buy all the engine parts from Kitaco (how about a DOHC four-valve head?), this sort of performance is within the reach of every C90 Honda owner. All those cabbies doing their 'knowledge' would make mincemeat of London traffic with this sort of acceleration.

Hot on-board laps of Cadwell with Josh Brookes

You've got to be reasonably mental to ride a 200bhp Superbike on slicks around the narrow cart track that is Cadwell Park. We've met Josh Brookes a few times and we can vouch that he qualifies highly for the task in hand. That's a compliment, by the way.

You want a nice little car, you do.

We ran a couple of stories last week - both, coincidentally, about new Kawasakis. One was the first peek of the new ZX10R – hot stuff you’d imagine – the other, the new W800 retro parallel twin. I suppose it shouldn’t have shocked us, which story was most popular in terms of hits but it really does mark a seismic shifts in British biking attitudes that the W800 story doubled the hits of the ZX10 piece.
