Honda RC51 description

This bike is 99% original, flapper in intake was removed and I have the parts so if you wanted to reinstall it you could. Power commander 2 also installed. Other than that the bike is super close to perfect and original. There are some small signs of wear like small random rock chips on lower fairing and I put a small piece of tape on side fairing to keep my knee slider from scratching. Bike is pictured  with titanium termignoni exhaust witch I will se selling separately. Bike has no issues and runs perfect. It doesn't even have enough miles to do its first valve inspection. It even still has the original chain that is in great condition. Oil has been changed roughly every 1500 miles. It has Dunlop Q3s in good shape. I have stock shifter, original front sprocket, windscreen and pipes all in great condition with no damage or scratches. Termignoni slip on will cost 600$ extra.

Honda Likes to Dress Up

Fri, 31 Oct 2008

Who doesn’t love Halloween? Well my neighbor down the street who turns off all his lights and flips the sprinklers on for Halloween night doesn’t, but he’s a jerk. Honda was in a Halloween spirit when they came up with this ad campaign consisting of some of their rides “dressed” in ridiculous outfits.

2010 Honda V4 Teaser [video]

Tue, 25 Aug 2009

Based on the concept model unveiled last October at Intermot 2008, the new motorcycle is expected to be a sport-tourer powered by a 1200cc V-4 engine with variable cylinder technology which can allow it to run on only two cylinders to conserve fuel.  There are also rumors that the motorcycle will have a semi-auto gear box which will give the rider the option of going manual or automatic. Honda has a dedicated website for the V4 where you can enter for a chance to win a spot to be one of the first to test drive the new bike, unfortunately, the contest is only open to Europeans. Hit the jump to see the new promo video (you can hear what the motorcycle sounds like!) and an interview with design project leader, Teofilo Plaza.

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.
