This bike was completely stripped and rebuilt over the winter (no motor work)

over 40 pieces were stripped and powder coated including

frame - swing arm - triple tree - clip-ons - many more parts

Rebuilt Slave Cylinder for Hydraulic brake - Honda Parts

NEW - Braided Brake and Clutch Lines

Rebuilt Carburetor's

NEW - Thermostat - Honda Part

NEW - Radiator Cap - Honda Part

NEW - Swing Arm Bearings

NEW - Tapered Neck Bearings

NEW - Sonic Springs for the front forks - seals replaced

NEW - Hagon Rear Mono Shock - $450 shock - also have original rear with new seal

NEW - Smaller euro style turn signals, originals included

NEW - all available gaskets replaced on motor / valve covers, water pipes etc..

NEW - Exhaust gaskets - unfortunately I have not found a suitable exhaust

The fairing pieces and tank are original paint, no work has been done on them

Right Hand control has on / off / park switch as in Europe, I never use it, but it is different

I have ridden the bike for over 2000 miles at this point, including 400 miles at Deals Gap in Tennessee

Strong motor and runs well, no leaks, does not overheat and everything works!

There’s only one thing left to say about Jorge Lorenzo’s 124 mph crash during a rainy practice session last Thursday while warming up for the TT Assen: It could have been a lot worse. The images are horrific, but thanks to groundbreaking protective gear, Lorenzo walked away with only a collarbone fracture and a heck of a tale to tell. Today, Alpinestars released a trace graph analysis of Lorenzo’s spill, thanks to data collected from his TechAir airbag suit.

The MotoGP circus moves into it's tenth appearance at the Estoril circuit, with the Portugease circuit playing host to a Grand Prix event in each of the previous nine years since the introduction of the four-stroke MotoGP formula at in 2002. Below is a reminder of the highlights of the previous nine MotoGP races held at Estoril: 2002 – Having won the last 500cc GP race at Estoril in 2001, Valentino Rossi (Honda) won the first of the MotoGP races held at the circuit. This was a race that was run in very wet conditions and Sete Gibernau had led for most of the race only to crash out with four laps to go.

2014 Honda CTX700 and CTX700N Revealed, the First in a New Series Focused on Comfort, Technology and Experience

Honda pulled the covers off a new streetbike series aimed at younger, shorter riders. The Honda CTX700 represents the first in a new series from Honda combining the three tenets of Comfort, Technology and Experience. It’s a platform “specifically engineered to make motorcycling more approachable, affordable and fun than ever before.” Our own Troy Siahaan is at the CTX700 models’ launch in Chicago and will have a full first-hand report next week, but for now here’s a quick look at Honda’s new streetbikes.
