The new CBR250R is the 1st major competition the Kawasaki Ninja 250 has faced since the early 1990s. The CBR was lauded for having more torque available at lower engine speeds, meaning that it is easier to accelerate from low speed and pulling away required less noise and drama, since the Ninja has to be revved to 9,000 rpm and above to make use of its greater power. Preliminary 2012 MotoGP Entry List Released
Fri, 13 Jan 2012The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. The provisional list includes 21 riders in the premiere class, including nine classified as Claiming Rule Team entries. Defending MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner will wear the #1 plate for the 2012 season, the first with both CRT entries and the new 1000cc engine displacement cap.
Virginia Tech Bolt To Race At NJMP, July 12-13
Mon, 07 Jul 2014The Virginia Tech Bolt e-bike racing team will compete in the July 12-13 zero emissions road race at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville NJ. This race is part of the eMotoRacing series, which runs in conjunction with AHRMA. The 96 volt student-built prototype racebike will compete in the eSuperSport class against a field of production based Brammo Empulses. The Bolt Team is no stranger to competition, as it has previous experience racing in the TTXGP series in 2012.
