Honda Other description

New in 2007, this 2003 ST1100P (Police Model) has always been privately owned, never in service as a municipal vehicle.

Hard to find any ST1100 with less than 50,000 miles, let alone a Police Model with under 18,000.

Anyone that knows ST1100s knows this bike is barely broken in. It belongs in a Museum.

2003 is the last year of the ST1100P.  Regular ST1100s were discontinued in 2002. Police Models were around for 1 more, then came the 1300 which doesn't have any where near the MPG (or reputation) as the 1100.

All (unused) Police Accessories included (Single Police Seat, Light & Siren Mount, All Police Switches + Fully Adjustable Handlebar Risers, Extra Corbin Seat with Detachable Passenger Backrest, Extra Windshield, Throttlemeister Throttle Lock, Palm Accelerator Lever, New Tires, New Brakes, All Fluids are fresh, Matching (Black & White) Hard Saddle Bags, Expanded Tool Kit, Original Owners Manual, OEM Honda Shop Repair Manual, Full Size Cover, etc.

The bike is turn-key, ready for the road or your private collection.

The only cosmetic flaws are a touched up 1" scratch on the gas tank (no dings or dents anywhere on the bike), and the hard bags have some slight scratches as expected for a 13 year old bike.  Overall, very CLEAN bike that gets lots and lots of compliments..

More pictures will be added within 48 hours.

Possible trade for Porsche (no Boxters), Acura NSX, Vette Vertible, High End Benz or Audi, Viper, etc..

NOTE: Do NOT bid on this bike if you do not intend to follow through with the sale. Buyer agrees that the $2,000 deposit, due within 24 hours of sale, is completely NON-REFUNDABLE. Do not contract to buy this bike if you don't agree with this.

BUYER AGREES THAT THE $2,000 DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE, SO BE SURE YOU WANT THIS BIKE BEFORE YOU AGREE TO BUY IT.

BIKE IS SOLD COMPLETELY AS-IS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND AS TO CONDITION.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

Mon, 28 Feb 2011

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.

2014 WSBK – Aragon Results

Mon, 14 Apr 2014

Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.

Honda CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R Recall Affects 6,954 Units in US

Mon, 10 Mar 2014

As we expected following similar recalls in Australia and Japan, American Honda has announced a recall campaign on the 2013 CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R because of a risk of oil leaking from the engine. The recall affects 6,954 units in the U.S. including ABS and non-ABS models.
