Selling my recently acquired 2003 Honda ST1300 ABS - KBB lists value at $4950 This motorcycle is being relisted due to a non-performing buyer who couldn't pay. Fluids were all changed by dealer before delivery, rubber seems good. Starts right up. I've ridden it and it runs, shifts and behaves as expected. Windshield height electrically adjustable. A few minor scrapes on paintwork as expected for a bike of this age. All locks work properly and I have both sets of keys and the shop manual. It's a good older bike with no major flaws that I can find. I will not entertain offers from outside the US. $500 immediate payment via Paypal upon auction end. Casey Stoner To Test Factory Honda At Motegi
Mon, 22 Jul 2013British publication MotorcycleNews.com is reporting that 2007 and 2011 MotoGP world champion Casey Stoner will test a factory Honda RC213V at the Twin Ring Motegi, Honda’s test track, August 6-7. Stoner’s shock retirement from MotoGP at the end of the 2012 season was met with skepticism in some circles, as many believed (and still do) that the 27 year-old, current Australian V8 Supercar driver would eventually make a comeback to two wheels. As it stands, HRC has no plans to enter Stoner as a wildcard entry at Phillip Island or Motegi MotoGP rounds, and insists the former champion’s services are being used strictly to help develop next year’s RC213V and the 1000cc production racer Honda plans to introduce next year.
Honda Zoomer X Prototype – New Ruckus Concept Revealed in Thailand
Wed, 28 Mar 2012Honda Thailand unveiled a new prototype at the 2012 Bangkok International Motor Show showcasing the next generation of the Ruckus scooter. Known as the Zoomer in other markets, the Honda Ruckus is probably best known for its non-traditional scooter styling, with the usual tiny tires and wasp-like body replaced by a fat rubbers and exposed tube frame. The Honda Zoomer X maintains the original’s rugged-looking tires but instead of the exposed tubes, the Zoomer X has a boxy-looking structure, though like the original the space under the seat is exposed to the elements, so if you want to store something there you might have to break out the bungee cords.
NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool
Fri, 22 Aug 2014The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.
